What payment options do you offer?
Currently you can pay by InterBank Funds Transfer (DBS/POSB), Cheque or Paypal.

For Singapore Clients, we recommend Payment through InterBank Funds Transfer or by Cheque.
For InterBank Funds Transfer Payment, we will provide you with our Corporate Bank Account Number, and all you need is to transfer the required amount to our Bank Account.

For Cheque Payment, please cross your cheque to "(To Be Updated)" and mail it to:

Using PayPal, you can pay online using your credit card. This is the most secure and fastest way to pay.

I have just signed up, When my account will be active?

  • For Inter Bank Funds Transfer Payment, your account will be activated within 12 hours after we received the payment.

  • For Cheque Payment, it will takes about 3 - 4 days and is largely depend on when we receive the cheque. The earlier you sent, the faster we set it up for you.

  • For Paypal Payment, it will takes less than 12 hours after we received the payment.

  • For Wire-transfer from Oversea Bank, an additional S$30 will be imposed on top of the hosting fee, to cover for the administrative cost incurred by our bank.

To ensure proper setup, all new accounts are first reviewed by our staff. You can start uploading and setting up your site as soon as you receive the welcome email. The welcome email contains all your information for accessing your account, as well as information on how to transfer your domain name to our servers.

What are the servers specification?
Most of our servers are equipped with the following specifications :

Where are all the servers located ?
Our server are located at Singtel Internet Exchange (STIX) Data Center for Local Server Hosting Packages

Do you provide Windows2000 /NT based hosting?
No. our plans are all Linux based.

What are the nameservers i should use for my domain?
Which nameservers to use depends on which server you are hosted in. Kindly email our support at support@singpaporewebhosting.sg to find out which dns to use.

Does SingaporeWebHosting.sg offer a money-back guarantee?
All our hosting packages include a 14 days money back guarantee but an admin charge of $10 is chargeable for each refund.

Domain Name Registration Fee is non refundable. Domain name offered on special promotional price will be charge at normal price if the hosting account is refunded within the 14 days money back window.

Can i upgrade my account at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade from a plan to another any time by paying the difference (pro-rated), but we do charge a one time fee of SGD $20 for downgrading. An administrative charge of S$15 will be levied for upgrading and downgrading of any Special Plan.

What happens if I go over my storage quota?
Our system will not let you go over your storage quota.

What Is Data Transfer or Bandwidth?
Your data transfer is the total number of data packets which are transferred across the Internet to or from your account. All reputable hosting companies will impose data transfer restrictions in order to control their bandwidth usage and ensure a high standard of service. You can monitor your data transfer in real time via your control panel.

How much do you charge for bandwidth?
If you transfer in excess of your plan's volume limit, you will be charged a fee of SG$3/GB.

Is web hosting service included with the domain registration fee?
No. Web hosting fee is not inclusive of the domain name registration fee.

Is domain name registration included in my web hosting package?
Domain name registration is available with your hosting package if desired. However, it is not free and it is not included in the monthly web hosting fee. It is a separate fee altogether unless otherwise stated.

When I register a domain name who owns it?
You. All domains are registered in our client's names and you will have the full control over the domain name.

Are domains refundable?
No. Domain name registration/renewal is final and not refundable.

How long does it take to get my domain working?
If you ordered a new domain name through us, it will take approximately 24-72 hours before your site becomes visible. It will take a longer time (5 - 14 days) if you are transferring your domain to us.

I've registered my domain somewhere else, how can I use it here?
You simply need to change the nameservers on your domain to our DNS server settings. This is done through most domain registrars through a control panel that you log into. Others will require you to contact them.

Can international users purchase your hosting?
Yes we offer our hosting services to customers worldwide.

Is there a minimum time contract/commitment required?
You may choose your terms at sign-up. No contracts are required. You may cancel at anytime, there are no cancellation fees.

Can I have Warez (unlicensed software) on my website?
No, If we find them in your directory or Links to them, your entire account will be subject to termination.

What if my site breaks your Terms of Service?
Users' sites may be suspended for violations of policy, or if extreme, or second time offenders, sites may be cancelled. Each occurence is dealt with on a case by case basis, and we try to work things out with every client

Can I pay in US Dollars?
Yes, because exchange rates fluctuate regularly, we have a simple method of calculating the price in US Dollars. Poznet simply, multiples the SGD cost X 1.5 to get the prices in US Dollars (Subjected to changes). USD Payment is only applicable to Paypal payment only.

Do I have to have a domain to have a web-hosting account?
Yes, you must provide us a domain name to have your hosting account setup.

Do you provide SSH/Telnet access?
SSH access is not provided due to server security reasons but can be activated temporary should you request it.

Do you offer custom plans?
Yes, we do offer custom plan. Please email our sales at enquiry@singaporewebhosting.sg for a quotation.

Do you offer a reseller program?
No. We apologize that this program is not available at the moment.

Do you support FTP?
Yes we do offer ftp accounts

Do you offer ASP?
Our machines run Redhat Linux Enterprise Version 5 and greater. To get the full benefits of ASP, Windows is required. At this stage we do not offer ASP, .NET or Windows hosting.

Do you provide data backup services? How often?
Backup Services are done every weekend but clients are also encouraged to backup their files as often as possible. Poznet will not be held responsible for any data lost in any circumstances.

Do you host " adult" web sites, illegal software distribution sites, or collection-of-music sites?
We will not allowed clients to host any web site that in our estimation contains pornographic content or material that violates U.S.A. and Singapore copyright law. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline to host or to cease hosting any objectionable web site.

Is there a limit to the number of times I can make changes to my web site?
We do not place any limits on how often or when you can update your site. Your server is available to you 24/7 for you to update through FTP. There is no charge for making changes to your web site.

Do you have any hidden charges?
No. Our prices are genuine, the prices you see are the prices you pay
